At the 1983 GSDC of San Antonio show, Star went Winner’s Bitch & Best of Winners under Judge Joe Poepping.  Joe Poepping’s critique:

“A close coupled feminine, “typey” black and tan, shown in excellent condition. A very willing showman. Adequate extension and under-step. Lived up to her name this day!”
